In thinking on who would be our first Centre Stage artist for 2010 we were taken back to why we created Centre Stage in the first place. From Brand New artists, to those who have been hidden underground, we are giving you a chance to be introduced to some of the best artists from around the world. 'CENTRE STAGE' artists are handpicked by us and reflect those who we think will be making waves in the not so distant future. 'CENTRE STAGE' is also an opportunity for artists to feature on one of the fastest growing music site's and be exposed to a whole new audience from literally all over the world.

With that in mind we thought back to one artist we came across early on in 2009, Coco Dupree. Coco is a great up and coming artist and one we expect to come to the fore-front of UK Gospel/Christian music in 2010. Her lyrics tell a story that will lift up and encourage anyone that hears them, it doesn’t end there though, her music and message combined will also relate to those who may not have given their lives to the Lord yet. Those who need the Gospel the most. Keep your eyes on this young lady, 2010 is her year to rise and shine.

A sensational songstress with an electrifying passion for the art.

Coco Dupree is no stranger to the art of singing as she has spent most of her years with a microphone in hand and her passion for her craft can be felt through her music. Coming from a church background (singing in the worship team) life experiences, lessons, joy, pain and tears have all influenced Coco's artistic edge, molding her into the minister of music that she is today. Her eclectic sound is a wonderful blend of genres including traditional gospel, neo-soul, soul, and RnB. Her lyrics and her music tell an inspiring tale of a life spent in search of meaning and one that indulges the hearts of her audience.

Coco is a devoted and humble Christian whose only passion is to use her craft to elevate the King, and in her words; 'My love for Him won't cease, He brought me this far'.

Coco is currently establishing her Performing Arts School where both children and adults can come and perfect their skills in music and dance. This is Ms Coco Dupree – ‘Keeping it Kingdom’!
